SO they presented this film on July 1...as they do a free film almost every Wednesday...and the MC who always does a brief introduction said it was his "Favorite"...and apparently it also screened at the "prestigious" newport beach film festival..and it was definitely unique, but also a bit distasteful in some regards. I say this as a conservative Christian...and thus my taste for films is limited, but usually I find foreign films to be less offensive than german..; nonetheless thus far german films have proven to be otherwise...they can be quite challenging to the moderate-Christian mainstream perspective, as was this, including a homosexual couple, a half-clothed "king" on a toilet and his toilet paper among other things (it was at that point that I walked out).
