2/8/15 SOME of the CAST & CREW for NEW MOVIE "OLD FASHIONED", SHOWN @ BEL AIR PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
...THAT was fun seeing this movie...about a young adult man & woman attempting to build a relationship on so-called "old-fashioned" values...ie Bible-based (not sex-based) , getting to know each other, discussing values and intentions, etc and waiting for sex until married, et al... on the far left (hard to see)
is Kim Dorr (she often moderates the film-night discussions & is employed by BAP), and to the right of Kim (ie 2nd from left) is the actress who played Amber (Elizabeth Roberts?) ; third-from left is one of the producers, as well as 4th-from-left (or 2nd-from-right); and on the far right I think is the person who played "Clay"
(maybe Rik Swartzwelder ?)...
...although he doesn't look like Clay in the movie. I was not able to catch the entire discussion clearly so I hope I got it right. I heard them mention Grand Rapids (MI) (where I grew up)...apparently they had a premiere there a few days ago; speaking of Grand Rapids (GR), some of the houses looked like GR..I wonder if they filmed parts of it there ? Anyways, nice film...a bit slow at times but then maybe that was intentional ...to match the theme of the movie...ie moving slow rather than too fast when it comes to relationships.. ; I think that's a reminder most of us need in this day & age..!
it opens on valentines day...so perfect !
