at ralphs on west olympic near century city...this place has SO MANY EMPLOYEES all of them kind of milling around, mostly latino...& the latino community has found their place in working-class jobs while also trying to control the milieu to their favor..as I left Marciela says "Thank you sir" with a tone of now get out of here..goodbye...and she's calling me "sir" in a manner that is intended to disenfranchise me while keeping her and the latino community as the "persona gratis" community...and the rest of us only welcome briefly to shop, pay, and get out
